At the WABE Fall Institute you will find sessions related to our theme "Si Se Puede, Yes We Can"

We can integrate content learning and language development through the use of formative assessment practices, project-based learning, and intentional language routines.
We can apply WIDA standards and assessments into our instructional design cycle to include pre-assessment, instructional planning and delivery, evaluation and reflection.
We can provide scaffolds to ensure comprehensible input and scaffolded language output.

This session will provide an overview of the standards framework and an understanding of how the framework supports content and language integration. Participants will leave the session ready to start using the standards framework in their own instruction.
